Humble Bundle 8 has gone live, and man oh man is it one for the ages. If you haven’t heard of the Humble Bundle initiative (and its countless spiritual children), open the trapdoor to your bunker and come outside. It’s nice out here, and you’ll eventually get used to the bright fireball (it’s called the sun).

Then come back inside and get your mitts on some of the finest games indie development has to offer for the finest price of them all: whatever you want. As always, you can name your own price and even decide how much of it goes to the developers, to charity, and to the curators of game goodness at Humble Bundle. This time around, you get Awesomenauts, Thomas Was Alone, Dear Esther, Little Inferno and Capsized. If you pay more than the average offer (a paltry $5.68 at time of writing), you also get the fantastically visceral Hotline Miami and the meditative Proteus.

We loved our time with Hotline Miami, which easily justifies the purchase of the entire bundle. And that’s not even to mention the collection of soundtracks and exclusive Awesomenauts chicken outfit. All these gems are redeemable on Steam and Desura, or available as standalone downloads.

After all the posts we’ve had on the site about it, why aren’t you playing Awesomenauts yet?

What’s wrong with you.
